Canned Wine Co. Spanish Verdejo 2023 250ml review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

waitrose

If this wine was in a standard 75cl bottle at £13.50 – that’s the equivalent price of this 250ml canned version – then I’d rate it as way over priced and only worthy of 2-stars. But in a can at £4.50 a time I’m willing to rate it at 3-stars (a good wine but over priced). That’s because buyers of cans are looking for convenience in small volumes and don’t really care about wine that comes in larger volumes as they won’t drink it. So yes the wine is expensive for what it is but it tastes okay – lightly fruity with pear and orange flavours. It’s just a bit watery but not bad for a canned wine.
