Portuguese wines are great value at the moment if you are looking for bags of flavour but don’t mind the fact that they will be a blend of grape varieties you’ve never heard of. Usual price is £8 but bought on offer (Buy 3 Taste the Difference wines and save 25%) which brought the price down to £6 a bottle – which is why the review is 4-stars. Lots of flavours: blackberry, sloes and cherry plus toffee and a green sappiness. Oomphy.
