Maison Fortant Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2024 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

sainsburys

It’s cheap and it tastes of what it supposed to taste of – lime and gooseberry flavours with a touch of passionfruit. There is a slight wateriness to the light fruit flavours, but when the wine costs under a fiver then that is what you must expect I’m afraid. The lower alcohol too (at 10.5% abv) will add to this less than oomphy flavour but really when it’s under £5 a bottle if it tastes anything like wine then you are doing good.
