Codorniu Albarino 2025 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

co op

The makers of this Spanish white wine are better known for their sparkling Cavas, but this single varietal wine made from Albarino grapes is a good one. Lots of fragrant fruity flavours of lychee and mandarin orange with apple and almond too. This does not taste like your usual single flavour wines such as Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc, but has much more going on – it has similar flavours to a French Viognier wine which is also a white aromatic type. It’s a little bit expensive at almost £10 – more of an £8 wine.
