Red wines from the Rioja region of Spain are always reliable and will deliver a fruity and enjoyable flavour. Unfortunately they aren’t the cheapest wine out there. So at a tenner a bottle this is quite an expensive purchase, but if you want to just grab a bottle and go then this is a good bet. Flavours of dark chocolate, plum and blackberry with a bitter coffee finish. Needs food to be appreciated.
