Davenport Vineyards English Horsmonden Dry white 2018 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

The warm summer of 2018 helped ripen the English grapes to perfection. Davenport in East Sussex used their organic grape blend of five less well known varieties to make a lovely floral white that has a touch of the fizz about it like a Portuguese Vinho Verde. White rose, lychee and lemon aromas and flavours within a 11.5% alcohol wine that is reminiscent of a German Pinot Blanc.
