An English sparkling made in the same way as champagne with the same grape varieties – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier – but coming from the Hush Heath Estate in Kent rather than north-east France. This pinky-orange lightly sparkling rosé tastes of fresh from the oven apple cake with a grating of lemon zest on top. There’s a backdrop of sweetness coming through as melon and pear flavours. This may be a pink wine but its flavours are all white.
